Area Professor
In particular, the Area Professors have the tasks of checking all the training materials, that are posted also by the tutors and video professors, to check the tutor’s whole teaching process and the student’s learning process. The same professor can directly post his personal didactic material (lecture notes, the multimedia documents, the tools needed to learning process and the evaluation tests etc.) into his page on the Didactic Cyberspace; he can participate in the synchronic lessons and seminars through virtual classrooms. The professors change their roles and functions becoming professors-directors, expert consultants and guides:
- From transmitter of knowledge to “designer” of the learning experience of the students;
- From solitary professor to active member of learning group that gives expert advice to his/her tutors and guides the students’ learning processes.
